In early days VGCats vebcomics. I still tend to draw heads to big xD
Now? To much people to mention really.
The great Jim Lee and the late Michael Turner.
I draw big heads too but I feel like I got the big heads style from Lucky Star.
looking those artist up and man their art is quite amazing
Artists that got me into drawing were StressedJenny, DennyButt (now named SkyVIxie) and Picolo-kun (these were around 2009-2013 XD), there were more but I can’t remember right now. The ones that made me aspire something more were Ed Mell, Mike Mignola (really really great artist) and Kaneoya Sachiko, among others, they are the ones that make me want to make more content and improve it too. : )
impressive amount of inspiring artist, sorry for replying late
fair, he is so positive

Kazuo Oga, mainly know for his work on My Neighbor Totoro.
Makoto Shinkai, and his astounding use of 2d and 3d to create backgrounds that look beautiful. Of course, he has amazing artists he works with on each film, but it’s the style he pushes for as a studio that looks amazing.
The artists behind the show arcane is inspiring in terms of painting. They mix digital painting with 3d and 2d animation to create a very recognisable style.
The Art in Le Sommet des Dieux (The summit of the Gods) is really amazing.

The person that got me to drawing is one my parents tenants, so me a wee child watching this person draw some amazing art. Then whoever made pokemon anime in the 90’s.
I have alot to thank for Japanese manga and anime artist collectively and specifically I’m inspired by the works Masami Tsuda [His and Her circumstances] , Takako Shimura [Wandering Son], Kiyohiko Azuma [Yotsubato and Azumanga Daioh] -
for more recent once, I love the artstyle of the person who made Budgie’s Life webtoon. Specially when they flexes it on spreads. The author/ artist of Ballroom Yokuso manga is also amazing.
Also inliquidcolor who specializes in animals & watercolor / the reason I learned how to draw animals and expand my understanding of watercolors. There’s are other more in YT that I follow like Minjye, Weiji and lackism. Also I’m a fan of this artist in twitter that make food drawings.
I have some artbooks in my shelf and to be honest I can’t remember artist names much I save artworks that I like in a folder to look at when I need.
Lincoln Pierce and Dav Pilkey.
the dude who drew naruto, i would spell the name, but idk how to spell it.
Craig Mullins
That’s a hard question to narrow down, there have been so many! Early on I was addicted to comics. I was in fifth grade when I taught myself to do Charlie Brown and Snoopy, quite as well as Charles Schultz, (or so I flattered myself). Later I read super-hero comics and tried to emulate that style – Gil Kane, Steve Ditko, John Romita, Sr and Jr, and of course Jack Kirby.
At some point rock album covers began to attract my attention. There were a lot of marvelous covers and artists, but it was surely Roger Dean that I admired most. I first encountered him rather late, via the cover of “Relayer”, by Yes; I quickly accumulated all of Yes’s previous albums, many with covers by Roger Dean. Eventually I found “Views”, an early book by Roger Dean. I pored over that endlessly – I must have spent thirty or forty hours just studying how he accomplished the front cover!
Over the years of course I was exposed to a great deal of “fine” art, classical and modern, and I certainly was excited by much of that as well, but honestly it was those comic book and record cover artists – not “real” artists at all, according to some – who most inspired me.
I got into drawing at a young age because of my siblings who drew a lot. So it kinda just stuck.
My favorite artists are probably James Gurney (Dinotopia author) and Alex Ross (Comic Book artist) their use of Gauche and Watercolor are astounding, and their ability to mix fantasy and realism together are probably why I love them so much.
I learned a lot from watching Youtube tutorials from artist Mark Crilley at a young age, so I owe him a lot. I also was a big superhero, manga/anime, sci-fi and fantasy fan, so I took inspiration from a lot. ![]()
League of Legends Splash Art team and Arcane Art team.
I saw a lot of great artworks from many artists, but I think only LoL Illustration that make me feel, “I wanna create something like that”. I have a habit, every several months I compare my recent artwork with LoL artwork, and I realize, everytime, that I still have long way to go. Funnily I never felt disheartened when I saw those artworks, instead I feel challenged and sometimes happy if I can draw something that looks similar in technique, even to a small parts of the LoL illustration.
My artistic influences are mostly:
Mary Blair
Tex Avery
Bob Clampett
Rodney Greenblat
Milt Gross
Anime(Di Gi Charat, Sanrio, Etc.)
Wassily Kandinsky
Weird and obscure 90’s-2000’s Japanese video games
There’s a lot more stuff that really influenced my art a lot, but these are the ones that always comes to mind.
