In Photoshop there is a tool that allows you to create a layer mask, which when you erase the original layer, with the black brush, “hides” what was erased and when we paint with the white brush it appears again. My question is if there is an equivalent to that in krita. Thank you so much.
That’s probably a normal transparency mask. Krita has that too.

Hello @Nomikt and welcome to the forum
Krita also has Filter Masks, Local Selection Masks, Transform masks and Colourise Masks.
Transparency Masks, Filter Masks and Transform Masks can be animated.
It’s a world of creative possibilities inside

Layers docker → right click on a layer → Add → Add Transparency Mask.
Then you can select the mask under the layer and paint white/black on it with any brush.
