When im drawing, my pen draws far away from where it is in real space, but it only happens on the canva, not in the options nor on any other program, it only happens when trying to draw on the canvas, it also does the strokes shorter from side to side than from up to down
Edit:
horizontal strokes are done on a ratio of 1 to 0,5 and vertical strokes on 1 to 1
Which version number of krita are you using?
Where did you get it from?
Which version of Windows are you using?
What is the make and model number of your graphics tablet?
Have you installed the tablet drivers in accordance with the manufacturers instructions? (Not applicable for a Wacom tablet.)
Have you used krita before with no problems with this graphics tablet or are you new to krita and to this grahics tablet, or some other situation.
What type of computer do you have?
Are you using one or two monitors with your computer?
Depending on the answers to those questions, further questions will probably be asked of you.
im using krita 5.2.3, i got it on the official krita page, im using windows 11, my graphics tablet is a huion kamvas 13, yes, i have installed the tablet drivers the way its intended. Im using 1 monitor, and the graphics tablet as a second monitor
Please do the following:
In the Huion driver, create a profile for Krita. This is done via the drop-down menu in the upper right of your driver near the gear-icon.
On the tab for your pen, deselect WindowsInk in the lower left corner.
Then in Krita go through the menu’s ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Configure Krita’’ to the tab ‘‘Tablet Settings’’ and set the radio-button in front of ‘‘WinTab’’, then confirm that setting with the OK-Button in the lower right corner of that dialog and restart Krita.
If this did not work, then please report back and describe briefly what you did so far and where you are stuck.
Hello @TfDuck - I guess you may have tried already but make sure the tablet is connected and on when you start Krita. Also make sure the correct working area is chosen in the Huion driver interface. Hope that helps, good luck getting it set up.
So you have a two monitor arrangement.
I assume they’re configured for mirrored mode.
Having different main monitor and graphics tablet monitor resolutions can cause scaling problems.
For that, the tablet settings/mapping options in the tablet driver setup/configuration utility will need to be examined and maybe adjusted.
