its been a week that im trying to make animation that i mead as video but it wont let me even tho i already downloaded the ffmpeg and extracted it but it wont work pls I need heelp!
I think you have to provide a bit more context on what isnât working, what error you get, what settings you picked, what OS you are on, what version of Krita, what ffmpeg you downloaded and etc.
One common mistake often made is trying to export mp4/mkv while downloading the ffmpeg version that doesnât include it due to licensing. But again, your issue can be different and we canât help without some context.
the version of krita i used is 4.4.8. , windows 8.1, it keeps error when I export as mp4 saying cant locate the location even tho i extracted it, but the way i extracted it is different from the tutorials i watched when i right click there is no âextract hereâ and when i clicked it automatically extracted using 7zip and this is the ffmpeg i used for 7 zip https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ffmpeg-release-full.7z
https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ffmpeg-release-essentials.7z (22MB)
but those 2 didnt work so i downloaded the winrar instead and used this ffmpeg
https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ffmpeg-release-full-shared.7z
and again it didnt worked out for me and it never shows âextract hereâ
So let me clarify, you extracted it (being extract here or not doesnât matter), then in the render dialog you found ffmpeg.exe and selected it but it is still telling you it is not found?
oh nevermind I finally solved my problem but thx for trying to help me!

I usually use the âbuild essentialsâ .zip (You need the 7-Zip application to be installed to unpack .7z files). Iâve never had problems in the past.
Can you now Render an animation as an .mp4 file and if you try to Render it again, does it remember the location of the ffmpe .exe or do you need to find it again?
