I’ve provided all the links where it’s explained why they’ve choose to deactivate Firefox browsers for which version is lower than 89, I can’t give more information than what is already provided for public
On my side, with SeaMonkey based on version 68 of Firefox, text editor is not working properly.
I won’t test all browsers to check on which web engine/version they’re based on
I understand that and I already noticed this bug the other day. However: text formatting did work in the past, so the FF bug surely isn’t the only reason. In fact it’s a choice of the developers, to use newer functions that are unsupported or buggy on older browser versions. I think, it’s a sign of our times that constantly things that aren’t broken, get “fixed” - just because… new. And it’s getting on my nerves…
