Has anyone else noticed that this has stopped working or is it just on my computer?

On my side, I’m still able to configure the window background color…
What do you mean by I can’t seem to adjust the windows background color anymore. ?
You can’t click on button anymore?
You can click but the the color dialog doesn’t appear?
You can change the color here, but color change is not applied ?

I can change the color but the color is not applied. It’s happening in both the 4.2.9 and 4.3 pre-alpha.
I’ll check on my laptop and see if it happens there.
If I set the window background color to black, with Krita 4.2.9 Linux appimage, it’s OK
But the color is applied for main windows background only (A) not the drawing window (B)
Maybe the problem is relative to windows version only 
I don’t have windows and I can’t test if there’s a difference, so I can’t help more on this subject, sorry 
We need a feedback for another windows user or a developer

You are correct and that was my problem. I’ve been using subwindows mode for so long I forgot about that. The actual setting I wanted to change is “canvas border color” in the Grid Settings Tab under the “Display” category. Thanks.
