XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad pen button not working

Description of the issue: Krita is unable to register the XP-Pen Magic Drawing Pad’s pen side-button (pen: XP-Pen X3 Pro Pencil).

“Tablet Settings > Use mouse events for right and middle click” does not fix the issue. “Tablet Settings > Tablet tester” registers a stylus press, but only when the button is pressed while drawing a line. The button does not seem to work while actually drawing in Krita. The pen button press is also not registered when attempting to use it for keybinding.

Does anyone have any ideas how I could fix this?

Hi

No, it seems button can’t be used with Krita.
Krita use Qt framework to access to pen/tablet so maybe with Qt6 the problem will be fixed, but I can’t confirm it.
