A pencil bundle containing all pencil grades (like from 9H to 9B)

Is there a pencil brush bundle containing all the various pencil grades from the biggest H to the biggest B? I know that a pencil preset can be used by adjusting the pressure sensitivity to simulate different pencil grades but for the sake of simplification and practicality, is there such a bundle?
P. S. (This question can include some noobness but) What’s your way to mimic the different pencil degrees within the given bundles?)

I don’t do much digital pencil sketching, but I’d say mostly just adjust the selected value in the colour selector.

For my greyscale thumbnails I actually have a greyscale palette saved into the template, so maybe use that trick - either just using the palette docker (top 2 rows of the default palette), or having it as a layer in your document for quick colour picking.

My old favourite pencil is one from MyPaint (Pencil 2B) which is available in Krita since it incorporated the MyPaint brush engine. I think Ramon’s sets are the best for variety of expression styles and realism - He’s put a lot of work into them.

Thanks. Using greyscale for pencils is a must (if you don’t intend to use color pencils). However, I asked about a “numbered” set mostly for practical purposes. To apply traditional on digital in a more organized fashion. I know that editing a favorite pencil (resizing for different pencil numbers) is so very easy, however, there’s more to grads than just size (different texture, opacity etc.). Ramon’s pencils are great in the meantime.

I’ve never seen a bundle with all the grades you’re asking for. It’s probably best to collect a lot of brushes first and pick out the ones you like. Then you should create the missing brushes by changing the brushes that are closest to the missing ones and saving them under a new name. Then, when you have your set complete, put them together in a bundle.

I understand - as it’s something I’d considered doing myself in the past, but I guess I never felt it was worth the effort! :upside_down_face:

There’s so many ways to approach making a pencil because of the huge array of brush engines and settings.

One suggestion: You can adjust how the brush expresses a pattern using the various settings under texture>patterns, and pressure response using the texture>strength curve. That’s probably where I’d focus my attention if I was trying to create various densities of graphite dust spreading over paper texture.

One way to create fixed values would be to create a colour-image brush tip with the desired value for each grade. There may be a simpler way, but it’s not something I’m familiar with.

How about @RamonM’s pencil bundles?

I already have SKV1 (no tilt). Now that I’ve downloaded Sketch V2, I also see that it is also great.

Thank you so much. I’ll try that.

Sorry. I thought that this was about resources.

Honestly talking about real pencils I only use them by x2 range. HB, 2B, 6B, and a mars Lumograph for darkest tones. Trying to create the total wide range will clutter the docker imo.

Of course you can do it with Sk1 changing the value option as I explain in the video. REAL PENCILS 2022 Sketch in Krita V1 (SK V1) - YouTube
