I’m speaking from an tablet perspective, I would like to see krita have a reference tab for canvases. Something Procreate and HiPaint does, I think it would be really cool. It can also be good for desktop but I think it’ll work best for the upcoming android app.
There is reference image tool and if you need a docker you can use the plugin on the desktop (not yet on android)
