Add this splash art along with the current one to the crit splash screen and make them randomly alternate at startup

I suggest adding this splash art to the new app build:

[01-final-1366w] [02-line-color-1366w] [03-light-1366w] [03-mockup-1366w] “Recharge” (2026) - An attempt to create a splash art illustration featuring the legendary Kiki the Cyber Squirel, the official mascot of Krita. Eventually, I decided to turn it into a larger package, including a big “making of” tutorial, a brush bundle etc. (with the intention of gifting it to the Krita Project.) The last slide shows a mockup of the loading window. More info:

HOWEVER, don’t remove the current splash art of Kiki at sea. Could you make it so that when the app launches, the splash screen randomly selects one of these two splash art and displays it? I think this would add variety and prevent users from getting bored with the same splash screen. What do you think of this idea?

You forget, that the artist himself has to publish his art with the creative common licence and has to give permission to use his image etc. I don’t think that will happen.

The author is donating this splash art to the Krity project. He wrote about it on his GitHub repository, where he posted all the files he used to create the illustration.
