Am I the only one? 🤔

Does it ever happen to you that you do a job and then after a while you switch to another because that one was taking up too much of your time or you were getting bored?
Me yes :rofl::rofl:
I basically have a myriad of illustrations that I started and never finished or that when I reopen them I would want to start over because they no longer convince me.
Please tell me I’m not the only one.

You’re not the only one…

My worse case is a painting I spent about 30 hours on and then decided I don’t want to finish it anymore :frowning:

30 hours :scream:.
then I can’t complain.
my maximum was 15 hours and then I gave up everything.
every now and then I open it again, look at it a bit and then close it again.
I wonder if I’ll ever finish it.

Yeah… Most of it was lineart, too :stuck_out_tongue: It was this piece. And here’s a smaller version where I added rough colors, but that was as far as I took it.

I saw the work, congratulations, it’s a nice sketch.
too bad you didn’t finish it.
the second link sends me to a post of yours where you talk about your progress over the years, but it doesn’t show me how far you got with that project.
anyway, nice work all :slightly_smiling_face:

Ah, maybe I should have linked directly to the image. It’s a part of a bigger collage: image

Thank you, it’s not bad, but I think the character isn’t drawn quite as good as I hoped originally

I wish I had Da Vinci’s mastery
Anyway yes, we could call it that.

Me too hehe. I enjoy sketching the most and I struggle to get myself to the coloring stage. I have also open them every now and then to look at abit. Where I differ is the starting over bit. I always leave them in a stage where I’m happy with it. I guess it’s more like I don’t want to ruin what I have so far. Time to do other studies before going back to it.
