Hello everyone !
As you might know (or not actually 'cause it has been only a month) the last version of the website to download the FFmpeg changed. Therefore, it’s no longer possible to choose the version, the architecture and the linking as it is explained in the manual (or at least I did not find how to choose). Few versions are proposed but I don’t really get it and I tried some and it did not work (or I did not make it work). Which means I cannot not export any of my animations which is quite problematic as I have some important projects to do. If anyone had a solution to help me get the good version or make it work, I would be glad to hear out. The thing is, because it’s really recent, I cannot find anything on Youtube or on the internet.
Thanks for your help everyone and let me know ;)))
Hello and welcome to the forum ![]()
This was noticed and has been briefly discussed here:
The Gyan essentials build is fine (it works for me):
https://www.gyan.dev/ffmpeg/builds/ffmpeg-git-essentials.zip
The manual does need to be updated and that should happen one day.
Thanks a lot for your answer ! I downloaded your link and it wasn’t working so I checked a little and realized it was not for Mac but Windows.
I am so sorry to bother you again, but I was wondering if you had the link for Mac !
Thanks a lot a again and thank you for sharing with me the other topic !
The Zeranoe builds were for Windows as are now the Gyan builds, as you’ve figured out.
For Mac OSX, the manual has this to say:
https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/render_animation.html?highlight=ffmpeg#for-osx
And links to here for an ffmpeg download:
You need to be able to unpack .7z files as is mentioned in the manual.
Oh ! I finally made it work !! You were right it was the 7z thing that was not working. It’s so complicated but it worked ! Thanks a loooooot for your help ! you are a life saver !
