This is just something I did a couple of years ago to help make me write more (along with other pieces that relate to what I am writing about). It took me weeks to get this done. Lot of layering, blurring and smudging. It was therapeutic for me. I did each character in a separate canvas. Then I put it all together and colored it. And this was the result.
Here are also some others I did in Krita as well. Some are good, some are messy.
I primarily did this to save my sanity when I was not leaving the house in my late teens. And now, in my early 30โs, it was to save my sanity during COVID.
By the way, it is usual here to post only one finished artwork per topic, this has some organizational reasons, bound to portfolio and possible nominations for example. But works that belong together, like panels of a comic/manga, can be posted in one single topic.
If you want to post series of sketches we have our sketchbook category, and for the ongoing process of creating a piece we have the WIP category (Work In Progress).
Now I hope you enjoy Krita and the forum. Maybe take a tour through the categories to see what the forum has to offer, e.g. the resourcesโ category, or to familiarize yourself with our manners.
And if you have any questions about art and Krita, this forum is not the worst place to ask them first
Well, I kind of wanted to post under the same topic, because those pictures relate to what I have been writing about. Anyway, thanks for the compliment.
