Actually, this has been seen before and it looks like a graphics tablet problem, i.e. a tablet driver or tablet utility settings or Windows Ink settings or Wintab vs Windows Ink selection problem.
i.e. The usual long, slow process of going through all the possibilities.

I used Krita with the same tablet for a while before getting a new pc, but now I get a strange freezing every time I start a line, almost like it gets stuck for a second. It doesn’t appear to happen in other software, and I don’t remember it happening in my old pc (nor do I think I had to set up any settings for the tablet either)
Any ideas what might be going on? Thanks.

Description of the issue (you can include screenshots):
Every time I start to try and draw, say a circle, it draws a straight line in the direction I am moving, I’ve tried it in mspaint, and in a accuracy game, the problem doesnt happen in those programs. [Support]
Hi, when I try and draw anything there is a lag at the start of the brush stroke that results in a straight line, this isn’t a problem on any other software though because I tried it on Microsoft paint and it doesn’t work, I’ve attached 2 images, the first is Krita and the second is paint
I am using a Huion inspiroy H950P, and I am on the latest version of Krita
