Type of device (graphics tablet/display tablet/2-in-1 laptop/Android tablet): graphics tablet
Brand and version of the device: Huion, H610PRO
System (Windows/Linux/Mac/Android, + version): Windows 10
Description of the issue (you can include screenshots):
Every time I start to try and draw, say a circle, it draws a straight line in the direction I am moving, I’ve tried it in mspaint, and in a accuracy game, the problem doesnt happen in those programs.
I love how over a year ago I was getting a huge number of those questions only about Wacom tablets… then Wacom fixed their drivers, but apparently XP Pen and Huion didn’t want to stay behind too much and implemented the bug that Wacom just fixed
Also writing to Huion and complaining about it can help, too. If not you, then future users Also wintab (the other one from Windows Ink) is a bit better in some regards so it sucks that I need to tell people to not use it.
If you change back to using Winbtab in krita and then disable Windows Ink using the Windows operating system utilities, does that fix the problem?
I’m sure there’s a way of turning Windows Ink off, maybe via the icon on your system tray? Remember to restart krita after every chage you make.
I’ve done more testing and have come to the conclusion that it is more because of lag or latency problem, before it wasn’t happening with my mouse but now it is. I believe that the beginning of the stroke is lagging for some reason because after the lag it will curve and move perfectly fine. furthering my idea that it is lag or latency because it sometimes make multiable of these straight lines. Do you know any fixes for this?
EDIT: It also sometime lags when in the middle of a stroke, i dont think its my PC because I have top of the line components. It could be my tablet though.
Usually in these cases there’s something interfering with getting the events from the stylus to krita proper. This can be something like the double click sensitivity in wacom tablets, but also flicks and gestures, and we’ve also seen advanced mouse software like that of razer affect the tablet. You’ll have to look around a little on your computer for things that do stuff to the stylus input.
Another thing to check for is if you didn’t turn on the stablizer.
