The main goal was to explore possible designs for the main character and her old dog, as well as establishing the mood and tone for the project. [Matterhorn] Hi I’m ENS and I’m brand new to painting, digital or otherwise. It’s been many years since drawn anything (15?) and I’ve never painted anything before. I am fairly seasoned in photo editors and used to do some small forum signature art back in the day and decided not to use layers and to try to avoid using undo unless I made a big mistake such as failing to pick up a color using my eyedropper tool. This is one of my recent works, wasn’t working in Krita for a long time, trying to study other things, I catch myself using other drawing software, but sometimes you see the reference you want and you want it “exactly that painterly way” and then you know Krita is the best thing for it.
