Bezier curve doesn't work?

I follow the instruction in Bezier Curve Tool — Krita Manual 5.0.0 documentation but it doesn’t work.

  1. When adding 2nd control point I do not get a handle. Instead the line ends there.
  2. By clicking exactly on the end of the line I get 2 red handles which enable me to set the curve. However
    the line will not end on the 2ns control point but in the handle.

Anyone else has this? This is totally not like in the manual and I can not do curves like this.

I’ve never understood how to control the Bezier Curve Tool.

I’d suggest using vector polygons/polylines then using the Edit Shapes Tool to edit and adjust the line segments any way you like.

Thing is, it doesn’t even works like it should in the manual. I am surprised none of Krita developers had anything to say about this - at least list it as a bug.

It’s not us developers who are supposed to “list it as a bug” – if you find a bug, read Reporting Bugs — Krita Manual 5.0.0 documentation and then report it on bugs.kde.org.
