Using on a Samsung galaxy tab S8
I mainly use Krita, but was playing in Clip paint Studio this morning and discovered one thing I really, really wanted. A template for a book. I really don’t want to spend all the effort learning CSP . I’m doing this as a hobby, and my understanding of Krita is at least confident. Always learning, but at least I’m comfortable with the interface.
Does Krita have anything like this or a way to create one? It would be a children’s book format. So pretty basic.
That’s a simple .kra document template storage and use process and some simple templates are provided there as well as some comic templates.
A template for a book, or anything, has to be made by someone but I’ve never seen particular document templates offered as a resource by anyone. That’s a large contrast to the massive number of brushes, patterns and palettes that are made and given freely here and in other places.
There’a also the Comics Manager docker that could be useful for navigating large comics projects.
It should be fairly easy to create one if you have definite ideas about the final appearance of the comic.
It should be easy enough to make a ‘template’ .kra file but in the long term then you ought to learn how to use something like Scribus which is specifically for designing and creating document/book layouts and content.
I totally get what you mean, and would be an amazing feature, to be able to see the book evolving in this kind of view. It adds so much more control to composition and relationship of colors along pages. I was going to ask for some feature similar, including the desktop version of Krita. Message me if you want to talk it further to suggest it as a feature.
