As far as stabilization is concerned, you have already discovered the available options. Well, maybe apart from the stabilization of the MyPaint brushes?
To search for these in your Krita, open the Brush Editor via its toolbar icon or F5. Then click on a small arrow icon pointing to the left (below the brush icon) at the top left of the Brush Editor, if the brush presets view is not yet expanded there. You will then have two drop-down menus, the upper one allows you to narrow down the selection of brush presets to be displayed for each brush engine available in Krita. You have to select MyPaint that is at the bottom (as it is the most recently added engine), the lower one is for further narrowing via tags, let or set it to “All”, because we currently don’t know about the possible tags.
For MyPaint brushes, stabilization must be set in the brush settings. You can look them up in more detail in Krita’s manual, which is well written and worth reading, the settings are described here in this chapter:
And since Krita itself only comes with a few MyPaint brushes, I would like to introduce you to the following mega-collection by @fizzyflower, MyPaint brushes en masse can be found in the first two posts of the following topic:
And don’t forget to click on the fields hiding further information and brushes in @fizzyflower’s posts, they are marked with a triangle at the beginning of the line. Like this one ↓

You can find more MyPaint brushes in our resource category, but not only in the bundles that refer to MyPaint brushes by name, there are also MyPaint brushes in other bundles.
I doubt that this function will be added as another brush smoothing option in the near future, given the current donation situation and the currently very small team of developers, because there are already two methods. There are currently some much more important milestones, such as the switch (one version upwards) to the API version “Qt 6.0”.
