Can you insert tools in the pop-up palette such as: selection, eyedropper, magic wand, without having to use the computer keyboard?

You’re very welcome!
Regarding the installation of plugins:

  • First you need to download them. That’s usually through GitHub. For most plugins in this forum, the developer links to the GitHub codespace. There, click on Code (the green button) and select Download ZIP.

  • Once you’ve downloaded the ZIP file, start Krita and go to the menu bar > Tools > Scripts > Import Python plugin from file…
  • Select the plugin you want to install. You don’t need to extract anything.
  • Krita will prompt you to restart the program to enable the plugin. I advise you install everything first and then restart (less steps, saves time between restarts if you want to install more than one plugin since you can only import one at a time.)

Once you’ve restarted and everything is enabled, check out the new submenus under Scripts and the keyboard shortcuts (Settings > Configure Krita). Play around and set everything up to your liking. You can always disable plugins from the Python Plugin Manager (Configure Krita) if you feel like you messed up (true story😅)

I highly recommend you search the Resources section of the forum. There’s a lot of useful things over there. I found an awesome palette generator and this simplified toolbox, as well as a ton of brushes. Mixed and matched with the other two plugins, my workflow went from running to flying.

Hope it’s useful!
