Debian 12 KDE, Krita 5.2.2.
When changing windows/workspaces/activities (whatever you want to call them) with super+[1-9] all canvas shortcuts stop working until i refocus *(by opening a settings screen, pop-up docker or pop-up advanced color wheel/shade selector/tool options, clicking on a title bar, etc.) It’s been 4 years:
I’m not even sure this is a Krita bug, Qt maybe. Changing Workspaces (activities) in KDE at least seems to switch the focus to my Desktop, even in other applications. I assume you’re don’t mean the Workspaces inside Krita.
Still assuming you mean KDE-Workspaces not Krita-Workspaces, I doubt it because it’s most likely a behavior of the Window-Manager. Perhaps there are differences depending on if it’s the AppImage or not or if you’re on X11 vs Wayland but I don’t know. I remember I stopped using KDE Workspaces/Activities a long time ago because it had some quirks with some applications I was using.
They use the same GUI toolkit but that’s about it. Not even the same version (for the app image) because Krita had to manually patch some Qt bugs that are in the version KDE is using.
Switching from the officiall appimage do Debian’s Krita 5.1.5 version seems to fix the issue (huh?).
Everything else is fine except the distracting white borders on dockers (can I change the color of that?)
