Hi everyone. I just started learning how to use Krita, and I’m actually using the latest version, Krita 5.1.3.
I however have a little problem when it comes to creating curved text around an object. What I notice is that, when I try it, the characters of the text usually meet at the centre of the circle, thus leaving no space at all at the centre where the object is supposed to be.
How do I solve this, please? I wish I could share a picture here to illustrate what I mean.
But these are the steps I follow:
i. Type text
ii. Flatten text/layer
iii. Click on Filter and click on Start G’MIC-Qt
iv. Do the necessary tweaking on the G’MIC window
v. Click on OK
I’ve tried every trick to solve the problem but it still persists.
Ah, OK. If you want to use the GMIC filter, I’ll step aside and wait for someone else to answer, as I’m not familiar with it enough to be helpful.
If you want to try the methods in the thread I linked to, you might actually find that easier. I’ve found that method to work quite well for the stuff I do. Which way you choose (assuming someone knows the answer to your QMIC quandary) probably depends on preference more than anything else.
