This challenge born more than a year ago when I decided to do something for all month of the year and I’m happy I was able to post them all. In the few next days I’ll tought about keep doing this challenge or upgrade the idea becuase I love so much creat new worlds so I wanted to share a new kind of challenge but it can be in another format.
Thank you so much to all the lovely people who have been around this challenge and be interested. Love you all

When I was looking and thinking about this month’s moodboard, I was originally going to create an environment that focused on plants but I was hesitant because plants from the mountains and from the coast are very different. And I ended up using a lot of stone textures from a brush bundle that I had never used before.
@Iruhas Thank you so much for your entry so cool the scenario! So happy that you have enjoy the whole year challenge
@MangooSalade Thank you for your entry!! The warm colour palette give a calm feeling while the object at the left and right down corner give a mistery feeling. I love it
So cool to see that both are done with the same mood board but give an absolutely different vibe. Thank you, thank you.
I might as well post my rough sketch before I forget about it- a strange landscape with a beach, a giant ring in the ground, and hills sticking out of the ground with no bottom (I can’t think of a good way to describe it), with crystals growing out of the landscape. It was somewhat inspired by memories of the game Xenoblade X’s landscapes as well (Primordia and Oblivia specifically).
When I started doing these, I guess I was intrigued by the possibility of creating new ideas, new worlds, from it. And while I felt like I didn’t accomplish much there, looking back there does seem to be a lot of potential in what I did. So, thanks, @Sioni, for inspiring me and others (who have much prettier renderings of their ideas ) throughout the year.
Thank you @Sioni for putting the challenge together, I really enjoyed doing it. I think that trying to employ the different elements ends up making the work more creative. I would not have thought of this scene without the various prompts.
@freyalupen OMG this have so much potential!! I can perfectly see it and it could be so cool to see a final render of the scene. Love the idea con the hills sticking out with no bottom because I’m an absolutely fan of flying lands hahahaha Thank you so much for your kind words. It means a lot for me
@MangooSalade Thank you so much for your words. I’ll try my best to keep doing the challenge. I’ll post the moodboard as soon as I can
@sooz Woah beautiful and mystical . I love the idea so much! I can imagine a whole world with this idea Thank you so much for your participation
