Looking for Mixer Brush
I used the search on the top of this forum page (searched for mixer brush) and here’s 2 of the results:
If it’s about a substitute for Photoshop’s mixer tool, Krita doesn’t have extra tools for this but different brush engines all used by the brush tool. Every brush preset utilizing the smudge engine (like the wet paint brushes) can basically act as a mixer brush.
I notice there is a bunch of different kind of brush engines which one should I try to use ?
I went to Rakurris brushes I download them I started making variations of these brushes what changes did you do ?
I didn’t do much of anything. Some brushes I might change to suit my need, others I leave as is.
Any brushes that I’ve made a variant of are in the resources section of this forum.
For what?
If you get a brush, then the brush is ready to use, you don’t change the brush engines with ready-made brushes if you do not really thoroughly know what you are doing.
You only deal with these settings when you want to create whole new brushes or adapt existing ones. You can change it, or select one, when you are creating new brushes or adapt existing brushes to new circumstances, but that is a thing where you have to know how the brush engines work. If you don’t know it but want to deal with that matter, then you should watch the series about making brushes from @RamonM in Krita’s YouTube-Channel:
This is the best and most detailed and in depth information currently available on the creation of brushes, known to me.
