So many good brushes are completely inaccessible because Krita does not support abr, and I can’t find a single file converter competent enough to even know what an OTX file is. It’s a nightmare and I’m sick and tired of Adobe and its userbase making everything impossible.

For what do you need ABR’s, have you even taken a look in our resource area (do not forget to always scroll to the very end, till the forum says it is at the end of the page)? 
And OTX is a wrong way, everyone who has looked deeper into it knows that it is not the solution some believe it to be. It was even discussed here in the forum some time ago:

Just read the thread and maybe I’m an idiot but the main takeaway seems to be that it’s not worth one’s time to import abr into Krita. I think I’ll just try and find something similar to what I was looking for, my head is beginning to hurt. Thank you for the quick reply though, it is much appreciated.
