Hello, so recently i got a drawing tablet and tried using krita, so i made a drawing and i was colouring when i wanted to change 1 colour’s colour. so i tried to use the fill tool to change it, when i filled it, it changed the colour beside it too but to a diffrent colour (i wanted to make a dark purple into light green and beside it was normal bright purple.) but when i did it it changed dark purple to the green i wanted, but the purple turned light blue, is there any way to change this? every other drawing program i use dosent do this but when i try to draw thin lines they get really weird only krita dosent do this.
.You need to adjust Treshold value in the Tool Options for the Fill Tool.
Btw are you aware of Colorize Mask? https://docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/tools/colorize_mask.html or if you prefer a video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQdx6H9BIGs
I always thought that the Threshold value made a decision about whether to fill a region with the flood fill colour or not to fill it.
I’ve only ever filled shapes and entire layers but not used it to change a colour that had similar colours close to it.
It seems that the Threshold value makes a decision about how much of the flood fill colour to add to other colours.
I’ve learned something new ![]()
Yes, it can fill with semi-transparency which means it changes the color ![]()
Thank you so much!!!
