Hi! I wanted to create a sketchbook thread for all my random sketches, studies, and some abandoned drawings rather than posting them individually.
These first two are from January. I took a photo of my sketchbook paper and used that as my background.
I also have recordings of them! Hopefully they both work.
This is a more recent sketch/study of a few sculpted busts.

I originally didn’t start this one with a timer, but because I keep making multiple WIP I decided to limit myself to 30 minutes to finish it and as a warm-up. The right image is before I adjusted lightness, colors, etc. The pose is from one of the free sample packs here: Free Stock Photos - Reference Pictures
Morning warm-up sketch from a few days ago
Study of zhaoming wu’s artwork here. Tried to focus on the shapes as well as color of the face, but color picked when I strayed too far. I needed to add more saturation when picking colors.
The portrait looks gorgeous I like the warm tone and strokes.
Can’t wait to see more of it!

Sketches for an evil npc commission - sort of medusa + mafia vikings combined. I wasn’t sure what style of outfit to go for so tried to account for medieval fantasy and slightly modern day.
