Is there a docket or plugin similar to the recent files on the start up page. Where you can view a folder or selection of folder in a thumbnail format.
I think it will be helpful for somebody that does comic to see the page they have worked on. In that why they can use it to both open the documents or just view them for reference.
I have tried the “last document” docket and think it needs to be removed because it is of no use.
I haven’t spent any time in it but I would think the storyboarding workspace should give you what you’re looking for.
Maybe @sooz or @Michelist or @AhabGreybeard could give you a useful answer on that 
You can use imagine board in grid mode and you can change the list to recent documents or folder too if you want.
