Although I’m no UX/UI expert.
I have interesting in evolution/history of ui and interface philosophy from an era before affected by flat icon/design.

Anyone can add a link for sharing of Interesting Articles/Document for UI/UX.

A following Image is the good examples for thnking about visual hiearchy.
These UI layouts have their pros and cons.
Some layouts may be distorted depending on the UI Toolkit or desktop environment.
(Let consider in which best Color contrast, Color tone Harmony, Indent padding and Overlayed Element,Negative space etc for UI.)
