There’s so many blending modes in Krita it’s hard to say which would be optimal. ![]()
Colour dodge is my first instinct. There are many modes aimed at lighting effects such as Hard Light, Soft Light, Vivid Light.
I mostly use Hard Overlay as a general adjustment and effects mode - it’s capable of this kind of effect, but more complex to use than a singular focused mode like dodge.
You could also just paint it that way on normal - you don’t have to rely on effects! ![]()
edit: There is also this new mode available in the Beta that might be suitable: I create a new blending mode to mock [light on albedo]/[HDR paiting],is anyone interested?
