Group layer and animation

Hello,
I want to animate with frames in group layer, so I can move multiple layers at the same time. But it isn’t possible to animate on it. Does anybody of you know any alternative to animate by moving many layers at the same time?

Hello and welcome to the forum

You may have misunderstood the animation workflow in krita.

Can you read this and see if it’s any help or use to you:
https://docs.krita.org/en/user_manual/animation.html?highlight=animation#animation-with-krita

If you do a search for ‘krita animation’ in You Tube, you should find lots of explanatory/tutorial videos.

Can you post a full screen screenshot (.png) of your work arrangement when you’re making an animation?

What I want is to make an animation using parts of body, while also having them together. I want to have these parts in a group, so I could animate easily. Unfortunately, we cannot make frames for a group. What is the solution then?

Krita isn’t designed for cut-out animation (which is what you are trying to do), and things like these are just not possible.

Ok, thanks for response! I wondered if it were possible with masks, but no, masks are not also designed for cut out animation, because they cannot be transformed.
