hey guys i just disable and enable some resources in krita, but after that my custom tag is gone, is there any solution? where is the tag brush file located maybe i can restore it? (i have backup of krita appdata) :<
What method did you use to ‘disable and enable’ the resources and which resources did you do this to?
Does this involve bundles that you’ve made for yourself?
The tag files are stored in the ‘tags’ folder of the ‘krita’ resources folder and if it’s the brush preset tags that you’re interested in then these are in a file called ‘kis_paintoppresets_tags.xml’.
When you say that your custom tag is gone, do you mean that it isn’t shown as a possible tag when you try to do ‘Assign to tag’ on a brush preset?
If so, this may be due to a known bug with tag management that is being dealt with at the moment as part of the resources rewrite that is going on.
It also may be caused by you having deleted brush presets which have that tag. It gets complicated in there. Even if something seems to work, it may not work in the next session because changes you make in a session cause the resources files to be updated when you Quit and the internal state to be updated at the next session.
yes i think the brush is deleted when i disable some resources. i have restore the .xml file and it works again. thank you!!
