I’d love to have this feature too.
At first, I found the V line tool really complex to get used to. But after trying it a couple of times, I think this tool works way better than simply using Shift + Click.
It would be perfect if we could change it to Alt + Click to draw lines. I’ve already set Alt + Right-click drag to scale the brush size. That way, I could just hold Alt continuously and draw lines with various brush sizes quickly..?
However, I ran into an issue when I tried to rebind the shortcut : How to use alt + left mouse click to activate temporary line tool?
Overall, if I had to choose, I prefer Krita’s Line Tool. But since Krita already has such advanced functionality, it should be much easier to also support the Photoshop-style line drawing — using Shift to connect two points. Why not have both options at the same time?
