I made this image for my project’s itch.io site. I’ll probably adapt it to be the new main menu image as well.

Some of the text inking was done in CSP. This is otherwise a Krita piece, composited with the scrolling fog effects in Ren’Py. I put this together using my new Ren’Py scripting generating plugin.

I’m a big fan of classic films and their posters; for this piece, I took inspiration from Universal Monsters, Island of Lost Souls, Yojimbo/Sanjuro, and Lawrence of Arabia. Coincidentally, Lawrence of Arabia and rocky road ice cream were both invented in California.
