I can’t get this to work. Can you elaborate? Nothing happens when I right click /transform/ selection tool. No option to feather comes up. I know how to feather from tool settings.
@desotopete It’s not a good idea to resurrect a one year old topic, especially one that’s been marked as solved.
It’s better to start a new topic and describe your problem with a link to the old topic if needed.
With the selection tool active and a selection on the canvas, right-click the canvas then from the context menu do Transform → Feather selection.
Sorry, I tried to read all previous posts on subject. I don’t get any context menu upon right click as described. Also didn’t think they addressed the sticky option I proposed so I didn’t think it was actually solved.
This topic has been marked as Solved by the person who originally created it and you really can’t argue with that. It’s their topic.
Also, it’s over a year old and it’s never a good idea to resurrect a year old solved topic.
It’s very easy to create a New Topic so please do that and clearly explain your problem in that.

It’s just how to forum works. I would assume that people mostly ignore “Solved” support threads, except for people already present in the thread, or some very dedicated people. On the other hand, unsolved thread would attract more attention.
“An hour and a half” might not be enough to get a specific answer, too, especially in Developer section where you don’t ask for help, but ask for a new (even if small) feature.
Are you in the selection tool when looking at the right-click menu? Because the right click menu is tool-dependant, just like Tool Options.
Thanks for clear illustration. I am in selection mode, have tried all selection mode tools. No menus come up with right click in any of the selection modes. I don’t know why. Thanks for effort.
Do you get context menus on right click for other tools? Like popup palette for freehand brush tool?
Thank you. after trying my pop up palette , something I use every day, I realized I configured the pop up palette to open with space key/ right mouse button. I don’t remember why I configured it like that at the moment, I am sure I had a good reason… But pressing the space/ right mouse button now opens the correct menus while in selection mode. Solved. Thanks for your help.
