How to improve quick editing/use of assistants?

Don’t know if it’s too late or not to participate, didn’t really had the time to read all of this before

• you want to make one single line or a bezier curve in a nice way and it’s done better with assistants, but to do that, you gotta go to the assistant tool, set it up, then move to the brush, enable snapping, then go to the assistant tool again to remove it
• how to make it faster/easier?

One thing that could really help, in shortcuts:

Being able to add a shortcut for assistants:

• Single 2 Point Perspective
• Single Concentric Ellipse
• Single Ellipse
• Single Fish Eye Point
• Single Infinite Ruler/ Parallel Ruler/ Ruler
• Single Perspective
• Single Perspective Ellipse
• Single Spline
• Single Vanishing Point

Then once shortcut is activated, the assistant tool is activated to let you create a single assistant
Once assistant is created, it’s still possible to modify it (move nodes to adjust) but as the user click on canvas, exit automatically the assistant tool and go back to previous used tool state

This allows each user to define the best shortcut for their own need and the assistants they use the most, and also let them to add a specific button in toolbar if needed
