Hi @TurtlesAllTheWayDown

Do you have Krita installed on your device? If so, go to Settings > Manage Resources > Import.

If you don’t yet have Krita, you can get it from krita.org.

(Your post was moved into its own topic so as not to take the original thread off topic.)

Bj. I have to agree with you because I followed the instructions mentioned in the reply to your question but I couldn’t import the brushes. The file format was not accepted. Some doubt about it. I have installed the app and use it often. Best of luck.

Which link did you download the brush bundle from?

I have somewhat the idea that your question/issue is a little different, then the issue of the OP.
Please be so kind to create a new topic where you tell us your operating system (Linux, Windows, macOS, Android, Chrome OS), the version of Krita you are using and also the name of the brush or brush-set and the filename-extension of the file, as it is usual here in such cases. And if you have a link to that file, it would be very helpful to post that link as well.

when i installed brushes, you have to open the .bundle file. if your install comes in a .zip file, unzip it. then grab the .bundle file and do the steps @sooz said

Settings > Manage Resources > Import Resources
(and then open the .bundle file)
after that ur brush pack should show up under the dropdown (should be labeled whatever name the uploader gave it) and then you click “OK” and you should be good!

but keep in mind, if you are working on a project while doing this and it appears to you that there are way less brushes than you were promised, open a new document! it should load all brushes then!

Okay, I see that you want to try to help, something that is very gratifying, and you should not give up because of my criticism. Many more users should do this.
Please consider criticism, positive and negative, as feedback that can allow you to tweak what you do. Not all criticism enables this, some is just to be negative, hurt, you have to filter those out.
But here’s the thing, the OP’s problem is solved.
And @KritaCreature2023 was asked to open a new topic for its question, but that has not happened yet, maybe by reading the manual or using the forum search a solution was found in the forum.

And now to my critique.
Why should one open a bundle? The bundle is that what you install. I imagine you meant the archive, that is containing the bundle (or preset(s), brush-tips, patterns, gradients…), should be opened to get access to the bundle.
Okay, you can open bundles and pick out a single brush, because a bundle is a ZIP-Archive with a different filename-extension, but it is unusual to act this way.
So, especially for new users, and for users who have issues to understand how to install resources in general, this is bad advice, because it will most likely lead to more confusion and misunderstanding about the installation of a bundle.

To advise others something like this, you should then present the whole “picture”, starting with unpacking from archive files about what a bundle is and how to install it. Also, that you can unpack bundles with any ZIP software and where in the unpacked bundle you can find what kind of resource and in what ways you install those resources unpacked from a bundle.
This will be in most cases more information than these questioners would like to have, but would then be rock solid information.
