How to set up an app for an Android tablet?

I recently bought an Android-type tablet for drawing and working with graphics. I am learning, and before this, I only used Photoshop. When searching for a drawing program on the tablet, I encountered the problem that most programs didn’t suit me. When I discovered Krita, I immediately realized that it was exactly what I needed. But I encountered the problem that there are no hotkeys on the tablet, and because of this, the application is extremely inconvenient to use.
Perhaps there is some kind of guide on setting up the application for the tablet or the possibility to configure gestures? At the moment, I figured out how to set “undo action” on the stylus button, but I don’t know what to do with the other many buttons. Thank you.

 Hello @ClockworkOrange, and welcome to the forum!

Gestures can be defined via the menu ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Configure Krita’’ >> ‘‘Canvas Input Settings’’.

Then you can find and open a docker for some useful actions via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Dockers’’ >> “Touch Docker”.

It is also said to be a good idea to put the Tool Options Docker, Krita’s most important docker, into the toolbar, so make it callable from the toolbar, to save space. It can be done via ‘‘Settings’’ >> ‘‘Configure Krita’’ >> ‘‘General’’ and is found in the tab ‘‘Tools’’, it is the setting under Tool Options Location (needs restart) where you have to select In Toolbar.

For further tips on how you can optimize a tablet setup, you have to wait for users that have an Android device and optimized it.
