I cant launch 16x pixel documents

I want to do pixel art but I cant load a 16 by 16 pixel document. My app will crash. However, i can load documents in bigger sizes like A4. I use a Macbok

I don’t know about macOS but you could provide more information for people here who do know it.

Which version (number) of krita are you using and which version of macOS?

Can you create a 16 x 16 image in krita and Save it as a .kra file?

Is that a 16 x 16 pixel .kra file that you previously created and saved in krita?

What happens with a 32 x 32 pixel image?

Similarly for a 64 x 64 image. Is there a particular size, above which you have no problems?

Problem is known I think it’s the same than here:

Creating a new image crashes Krita 4.4.1 immediately on macOS 10.15.7

I am currently on macOS 10.15.7, and I just updated Krita to 4.4.1 from 4.3. Clicking “New File” and then clicking “Create” immediately crashes Krita. Does anyone know why this is happening? Here is the full backtrace: https://pastebin.com/mD9tVAgT

The problems with small images should be fixed in 4.4.3. The current universal builds still don’t run on Sierra, though.

I use macos Big Sur and Krita 4.4.3 but it stills crashes
