My entry for the september contest.
Yes, they are free, but I canât tell if it is CC-0. You can check this for each bundle, at least if the creating artist has provided his bundle properly with all related information and data, just go to the bundle resource manager in Krita via ââSettingsââ >> ââManage Resource LibrariesâŚââ, select the desired bundle and then the data should be displayed on the right side of the dialog-window, just like in the screenshot.
Where you usually can find information about a bundle:

Thank you @Michelist.
In License info âink-Tâ bundle has âSame as Krita default brushesâ, âINK WIP 01â bundle has âSame as Default in Kritaâ, so, since âKrita 3 Default Resourcesâ and âKrita 4 Default Resourcesâ bundles have CC-0 I suppose itâs the license of these bundles (@RamonM please correct me if Iâm wrong
).
Moreover in âink-Tâ description thereâs âCreated Specially for inktober 2023, and to show how fast and beautiful ink effects can be.â, so Iâd like to be sure I can use freely for every purpose.
Since Iâm going to use Krita and brushes professionally, I want to be sure about the license, thatâs why I asked directly to @RamonM, the brushes author.
So far, all bundles from @RamonM and @Deevad have been approved for any use, hobby or commercial, and all but the âDigital Atelierâ bundle have also been free, if Iâm not mistaken, unless they were already integrated into Krita anyway. Sure, you can still wait for Ramonâs response, but my understanding is that you are in safe waters here.

Is there an updated non-textured brushes bundle? Or do we just wait for the final release now? The WIP bundle brushes are not assigned to any tags, so I wasnât sure if I found all of them.
I tried to provide any useful feedback, but honestly my experience with ink brushes is so negligible that I couldnât even decide why I would use one brush over the other ![]()
If I remember correctly, the WIP ink brushes all start with 2023 so that puts them at the top of the brush list for me.
make sure you dont have a specific bundle selected too, hehe makes it hard to find them.
I changed brushtip in the 2023 Dot Ink brush, to a bark texture, it works really nice for making branches and trees fairly well ![]()
@Skess01 Specially created for inktober 2023 means that I thought about to help people to do the inktober challenge, doesnât mean you canât use them later. It has no sense. And I create these brushes to help Krita promotion, so donât expect weird licenses.
Personally I trust in all of you, and the good use of them. I use default resources to show people how good is, what we have already
The if you make profit of them, you could consider to support krita
About ink bundles:
InkT is final.
Ink WIP is WIP. I have been adjusting a lot of good things for the final.
And yes I use 2023 as prefix for WIP brushes
Absolutely yes (I just considered a little support even a little before making profit).
Thank you very much for everything

Ooh, looks amazing!
@RamonM which brush did you use to color/shade the robot in? ![]()
Default Watercolor brush. j) WaterC Spread. Watercolor and ink blends really well
Mr. Ramon what type of brush did you use for the blue one shading in this beautiful artwork. Seems very similar to the pencil but i am not sure.![]()
@karemuvar Thatâs what I have as well so that seems ok:
Is the Pencil from SK2. Blue comes from a trick i am preparing.
Thank you very much ![]()
for the information, there is a posibility we can see in the future Copic markers type for shading in Krita like this?
Also i saw your last brush marker its very similar the stroke texture to this one sample.![]()

My Fudepen in action. Thisis the big one. How do you feel it? Would you put it another name? I don´t want to use commercial names
This is Scratchpad while testing, one of the most complex brushes, because it can vary a lot.
And I think it works ok with that fast style you are showing
âFudeâ is derived from the Japanese word for âbrushâ. So itâs a general term and is used by many manufacturers of cartridge-ink brush pens.
You can even get fude nibs for fountain pens but thatâs pushing the definition.
