Ooh, #9 grungy! They all look great but that one gets me excited.
They all look great. I could make use of all of them.
Aaallll of them!!
Especially #9⊠Thinking of a gymnast leaping drawing I might do!
(Youâd have to see my gallery on Wix â linked in my KA bio page â for an example of what position.)
Thanks for the feedback i Was wondering if Kritaâs community wants more realistic ink brushes or more creative/weird brushes. help?
Both maybe?

And how do we have âquotesâ from another comment here please?
If you highlight some text from another reply, you will see a âQuoteâ button that is shown above the highlighted text. (Or you can press âqâ).
That will insert the quote and attribution in your text input field.
Thanks.
Last test. There is a problem but⊠Could Syd Mead forgive me? It tryes to be fun and like a wasted black Marker
WIP but i think is COOL
I like this one, it reminds a lot of a marker.
Not Black, at least pure black if needed with a bit of texture. What do you think?
The Digital is the last one on the right. I am using real Faber Castell Pitt. Lumacolor.
Hey Ramon, this is a really interesting work. Iâve recently transfer a bunch of ink brushes from Photoshop to Krita, especifically Martina Palazzese e Mateu7 packs, plus a few extra ones.
Since i canât really share them as bundles, i was wondering, would you be interested in taking a look at them? Maybe might help you in this endeavour, theyâre really great brushes. If you want to take a look at the Photoshop originals, here:

Nice brush marker you made Mr. Ramon, this reminds me one fo the examples i got from my artbook for this kind of brushes type markers. Its just like Fudepens markers.
Junichi Hayama uses this kind of brushes similar types from the samples you post.
The result was very interesting cand be used for shading and lineart sometimes.

@THE_CULT_OF_BERSERK Nice images with good ink references.
@Tamoha Thanks for the link, it is a huge pack of brushes. it takes a lot of time to analize all of them so i will stay with my original idea. Real usage based on my own experience.
i have been playing with default resources and look what we have .Enough Texture?
Pretty cool, or not? let me know
They look very interesting @RamonM! The one at the very bottom reminds me of a brush that I had made in Infinite Painter, then adapted for Krita. Itâs great for foliage.
Good work Ramon!
Those are beautiful, mate! Youâre right, the default resources can bring some amazing result by themselves.
Looking forward to what your crazy scientist comes up with haha
@CrazyCatBird Donât know if youâre able to answer, but do you know about compatibility between Painter and Krita?
As in file formats of the brushes and whatnot. Itâs been a while since i used Painter, so was wondering how hard is to transfer libraries from that software.
I donât transfer the whole brush itself, I only use the brush head jpg or png and then I use Kritaâs brush engines to replicate the behavior I want. As a shortcut, I start with an already existing brush in Krita whoâs behavior I want, then change the brush head and tweak the settings.
Not just âpretty coolâ - theyâre waaaaaaaay cool.
I need more feddback. I realized that i am making my brushes for real size, like If you scan a page at 300ppi is right the brushes will fit. BUTâŠinkers doesnÂŽt use that ppi for comics in marvel for example and I was asking my self how Krita artists use ink? Threads? bundles? help testing?
Some strokes real some digital. right now
