Basically, hard edges in the center of a stroke are no longer forcibly smoothed out, and therefore aren’t sharpened out with the brush’s current Sharpness settings.
If this new behavior isn’t ideal, there are a couple different ways to simply achieve the original behavior, you can either:
Set the speed sensor’s minimum size from 2% to 0%, or
Turn on anti-aliasing on the brush tip and set Sharpness strength from 22% to ~38%
How do I download this tool?
I followed the Google Drive link and click Download. But then it just download a PNG file. Not the actual brush file to import in Krita?
As Grum999 says you have to change the file extension from .png to .kpp, for some reason when Gdrive brushes are downloaded the extension changes to .png.
Is it possible that you are not using the Krita software that you need to install on a PC, Chromebook, Mac or tablet, and instead you want to paint here on the website in this forum?
I ask this because it occasionally happens that visitors to this forum make this misconception, and because the initial description by @URAVERAGEBOI where to find the button Import Resources should have led anyone to the goal who runs the software Krita on one of the above devices and has it launched in front of them on their display.
The link is in the first post of this topic, but I copy it into this posting, so you can click on it here:
In case your browser alters the extension of the downloaded file to PNG, you have to manually rename the extension back to KPP. When you open the link and look in the upper left corner of the Google Drive Page, you can see the original filename.
