There is this thread exactly for that.
oops sorry, I didn’t see it ![]()
No problem, there are 3 topics for the new lineart tool. So it is no wonder, that there is confusion ![]()
yeah, and the busiest thread didn’t really turn into a helpful one… But still, thank you for showing me the third thread, I got my answer! ![]()
A post was merged into an existing topic: Feedback about the inclusion of New Fast line art feature
Can’t wait to see this feature! However, I have a few questions:
Can we use it to create vector lines? Can we create sketches from color drawings? Can we use it with the 3d blender plugin to create similar Clip studio drawing functions such as extracting lines and fills from photos and 3D data?
No, it will only be able to make a very basic raster lineart from a very clean sketch. Nothing more. It won’t be able to “reverse engineer” a finished drawing and it won’t be able to create vectors. The linked documents pretty clearly describe the capabilities and limitations and the reasons why.
Thanks for answering
I was wondering if there’s a working demo of this project anywhere so that I could test drive it on my own sketches? (and I’m going to work on A LOT of sketches within the next few months) Or is it not available to the public just yet?
And when (approximately, of course) can we anticipate the full release?
Thank you for your answers; sorry if my questions have already been answered earlier and I missed them.
