I am trying to create custom coloured brush like blue/red pencil for easy access.
Yes,I can obviously use a normal pencil brush and pick colours from colour selector.
But sometimes few “ready” pencils can be helpful.
Now is there any way,I can create such brushes with a custom /predefined colour within Krita 5 ?
Hi
You can use plugin Buli Brush Switch, it allows to memorize some settings (size, opacity, color, …) to brushes

Thanks a lot @Grum999,for providing the link.
I have tried this out ,but somehow this plugin is not working for me.
I mean, there is no trouble installing it via settings > import python plugin for file.
It is also showing as enabled (in python plugin manager) after the restart.
But somehow the plugin is not showing in Tools > script.
So as I was not able to access it,I had no option to test it out.
By the way , I have tried out Buli brush swith-main zip file (0.2.1b version).
Actually I was looking for a more straight forward method like used inside PS and CSP.
Where one can save a custom colour as a default colour while creating a new or duplicate preset of a particular brush.
But I guess there are no such direct methods available inside krita 5 currently.
Maybe Things will get simpler in near future !
You could also assign a colored brush tip in the brush editor, under ‘‘General’’ >> ‘‘Brush tip’’, in the tab ‘‘Predefined’’ at the setting ‘‘Brush mode’’ (a drop-down menu) select the option ‘‘Color Image’’.
For this you can use any brush tip available as an image or create an own brush tip, you just have to color it in the desired color beforehand and import it as a brush tip. If you save a preset created this way, you will have a brush with a defined color, but you should be able to adjust all other settings without losing the color.

That’s because plugin doesn’t have menu entry
You normally should have a new icon in button bar:
A short documentation is available on github repository, it could help to understand how to configure/use the plugin

Thank you @Michelist !
This method can be a good easy alternative .
Though I need to find the proper tip for the pencil, which can give more organic results in color image mode.
But It can be a good start !
My fault @Grum999 !
I was trying to look for in the tools!
Yes,it it there and It is very easy to understand & use !
I think it is very close to what I was looking for !
Great plugin,thanks !
This is little strange !
@Grum999 @Michelist ,I found both of your inputs helpful and to me,both had different approch, yet similar kind of solution.
but I can only pick one as a solution.
I have tried to mark both as a solution, but somehow it is not happening.
I just don’t know, but why can’t be there more than one solution?!
Anyways, thank you both for the help !
Yes, that’s how works the forum
Don’t worry, the most important is that you’ve got one or more solutions that match your need/interrogation
Grum999
And I had to laugh when I realized your problem. I could see it in my forum messages.
Don’t worry about it. I am not in this forum “to score points”, or to climb an imaginary career ladder, which fortunately does not exist here, I am here because it gives me pleasure when someone could be helped. And who is the one who found the solution, I don’t really care.
The important thing is that you seem to be satisfied now.
The nice thing is that I also benefit from the solutions of others. Most of what I know about Krita I learned in this forum. Either by solutions of others, or by having worked out a solution for others myself. I always profit!

I can fully understand and appreciate your views @Michelist .
Actually I just wanted to thank you both in the same way, like we appreciate each others comments and views by liking them.
I believed even after we find a solution,we can maintain the same approach.
As you have correctly pointed out that no such idea of personal goal/score exists here.
So there should be at least a general way ,where we can show our appreciation to more than one single individual,if we feel it is right to do so.
But rules are rules ,I guess !
