Is this a bug? Text Scaling in Command Bar Cut Off

Hi, I’m not a developer and I’m new to this space so I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this, so please let me know.

I’m wondering if this issue with the GUI should be reported as a bug under “Usability” in the bug tracker.

This issue occurs when setting the scaling in Windows to 125%. I saw a recent topic here: Scaling Needs Attention about scaling on Windows but I figured this was worth asking in its own thread.

This is, in my opinion, a very small issue, that does not affect the usability for me but it is still an issue and I imagine that it might be more of one for others who scale more. This is why I’d like to report this if it can be considered a bug.

Whether or not it can be considered/reported as a bug isn’t my place to say, being also new to the community (welcome btw!) but I had this issue when I first launched Krita. I turned on HiDPI and the other setting under it and the overlapping stopped being an issue. Same scaling on my monitor too, 125% :smiley:

(I personally do think this is very much a bug, for what it’s worth)

Oh, thank you! That seems to scale the icons too now, which I’m not sure I want. Nonetheless, it’s not a big deal to me either way. Thanks for the welcome!

EDIT: oh, I didn’t realize I could change the toolbar icon size lol
