So… i bought Krita on steam a while ago and decided to give it a try, i use a lot of photoshop so i really wanted to import a pack of brushes that i use on it. I looked on the internet and i found out that you can add ABR files through Settings > Manage Resource > Import Brushes, but the brushes doesn’t show in the “brush presets”, even when i restart Krita… Actually i doesn’t show anywhere… I tryed to download another brush pack, but this time it was made to use on Krita, and i had the same problem, i tryed to import the “.bundle file” and it doesn’t show in the “brush presets”.
Essentially, you can’t do it and all you get is the brush tips, which you can then use as part of a krita brush preset.
For your problem with importing a krita .bundle file, which bundle did you get from where? What exactly did you do with it?
Does it show in the Active or the Inactive bundles of the Manage Resource Bundles window?
Thank you for your grettings, so about the bundle files, i got them from wojtryb brushpack, in a video on youtube, but now i realised that the video says ‘‘Krita 4.4.0’’ and im using the 4.4.2, i don’t know if that changes every thing but anyway, the bundle pack apears on Inactive bundles but i put them on the Active and nothing, but well my theory is that bundle is old. -_-’
4.4.0 was released In 10/13/2020 and 4.4.2 was released on 1/19/2021, we would really go out of business if two months difference and just the last digit changed (not like 4.4.2 -> 5.0.0) would make the bundle invalid
Move the bundle to the Active, press OK, then restart Krita, and you should be able to find those brush presets.
