Krita 5.1.0, some Digital Atelier watercolour-brushes doesn´t work any more

I downloaded Krita 5.1.0 some days ago and tried out the watercolour brushes of Digital Atelier.
I found that some of them doesn´t work while others work pretty fine. The outlines and dimensions of the bruhes are visible, but the canvas stays blank. I marked the not working ones with a red dot in the following screenshot. Has someone an idea how to solve this problem?

I too notices that some of them don’t seem to work like intended. I installed them when 4.2 still was out. I don’t know if there is a newer version in the shop now. It’s not only the watercolors some smudge painting presets, too.

Yeah, Krita has this bug that brushes get “stuck” after updates. Try this:
Select faulty brush, go to brush editor (it has to be brush editor, not top panel or something else), change brush settings to something else (including textures) and manually set back to original (don’t use brush reset feature), if brush successfully gets unstuck override preset.

The brushes are not faulty, at least in a technical sense. I’m pretty sure this issue results from attempting to use the brushes with a mouse. Most of the DA watercolor brushes are meant to do essentially nothing on maximum pressure (which is what you’d always get with mouse usage).

If any brushes truly act differently across versions without user intervention, it should be considered a bug that should be reported on the bug tracker.

Dear ZigiZen, I tried it:
I select “DA WaterC 01 Draw lines”, changed “without patterns” into “with patterns” and stored the settings under “DA WaterC 01 Draw lines copy”. This copy doesn´t work. I changed the texture settings manually back to “without patterns” and it still doesn´t work.
Seems to be not the right way, unfortunately. Or do you think I did something wrong?

Thank you Sooz, I tried Ramons advice for watercolour brushes before opening this new topic. Changed the settings to “hard mode”, but this made no difference. It seems I have to accept that some DA brushes doesn´t work in 5.1.0. So I will follow Ramons other advice to use the Krita build-in watercolour brushes.
