Krita configuration file

There’s a lot of time when i have to switch between different computer. And when that time come, i have to manually set Krita to how i usually work with it. Which is quite a chore. So my question is.

Is there any configuration files on krita that manage something like what kind of docker i used and where i placed them in it? so i can just copy the config file and replace the default one whenever i use krita on other place. Just like game .cfg files.

Hopefully this topic will be of some use to you.

The topic that @knock2 linked to is specifically about personal workspaces.

What you seem to need is a full ‘migration’.
Migrating your settings and resources from one computer to another is quite easy.

C:\Users(your-username)\AppData\Roaming has a folder called ‘krita’ in it. That is the resources folder so just copy that over to your new computer.
It also has personal workspaces and custoimised canvas input settings in it.

C:\Users(your-username)\AppData\Local has a few setting/configuration files called ‘krita(something)’, e.g. ‘kritarc’, ‘kritadisplayrc’, etc. Copy those over to your new computer but don’t migrate ‘kritacrash.log’, ‘krita.log’ or ‘krita-sysinfo’, for obvious reasons.

If the migrated to system has a display with a notably different size or aspect ratio, you may need to remake your personal workspaces to look better.
