Landscape or anatomy?

I’m interested in landscape painting digitally. Shall I learn to draw anatomy first?

Maybe. So in case you want to paint landscape bodies? The decision is up to you, but for landscapes, anatomy isn’t essential.

Landscapes usually don’t have much body features but perhaps when you want to put people in you scenes .

It’s best to solve problems as they come. If you want to paint landscapes, just do it. Use references as needed, but also try to remember and draw at least some parts of your picture from memory next time. I’d say it is essential to train visual memory, no matter what you paint. You’ll learn anatomy when you really need it. Don’t create unnecessary obstacles for yourself, it will only bring you down.

For landscapes, perhaps the most helpful thing is to have a good understanding of composition. Regarding perspective: if your landscapes involve only natural shapes, basic knowledge is enough.

But if your landscapes involve geometric shapes (houses, buildings, bridges, cars, etc.), you will need to have a greater understanding of perspective.

This is, of course, just to start with.
