On several sites I visited dealing with composition in art or photography, the authors also resorted to examples using film screenshots. Something that is used a lot is the "triangle principle" (I’m not sure that’s the correct term). This is what it’s about:

Yes, this is another way. But film storyboards are made by artists… so it’s normal to find these compositional elements in films in addition to drawings.
Something I like to do when watching videos on YouTube is take screenshots of scenes. You can pause the video by pressing the space bar. To move forward / backward one frame, you use, respectively, the > and < keys.
To take the screenshot I use the Windows Capture and Sketch tool.
If you want to extract all frames from a video, you can use VLC Media Player, following this tutorial… but it’s more practical to do this using short videos.
